(Topeka, Kan., May 28, 2010) – Stormont-Vail HealthCare has been designated as a Blue Distinction Center by Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas for knee and hip replacement, and for spine surgery.

The Stormont-Vail Total Joint Center opened in 2005 and features a team of surgeons and support staff who work together to provide compassionate, individualized care that is entirely focused on helping joint replacement patients achieve a fast, full recovery.
At the Stormont-Vail Spine Center, a specialized team of surgeons and support staff work together to provide comprehensive, individualized care – from initial consultation, to surgery, through the final day of physical therapy.
