Pediatric Infectious Disease Specialist Joins Cotton-O’Neil Clinic

(Topeka, Kan., June 29, 2009) – Stormont-Vail HealthCare proudly welcomes Jo-Ann Spiegel-Harris, M.D., to the Cotton-O’Neil medical staff. Dr. Harris, most recently served as professor of pediatric infectious disease, Department of Pediatrics, at the University of Kansas Medical Center, in Kansas City, Kan.

Dr. Harris received her medical degree from the University of Oklahoma, Norman, Okla., in 1976. She completed a pediatric internship, followed by a pediatric residency as well as a fellowship in pediatric infectious disease at the University of Kansas Medical Center, Kansas City, Kan., in 1981. Dr. Harris is board certified in pediatrics and pediatric infectious disease.

Dr. Harris treats patients, from birth to age 18, one day a week at her clinic located at 901 S.W. Garfield in Topeka. She is based at Stormont-Vail two days per week to care for hospitalized pediatric patients. Dr. Harris is available for patient consultations by physician referral only.
