Pediatric Hospitalist
The pediatric hospitalists program consists of three seasoned pediatricians who are dedicated to caring for hospitalized pediatric patients. Drs. Crouch, Evans and Gowans work with local and regional primary care physicians and pediatricians to care for their patients while hospitalized at Stormont-Vail HealthCare.
Drs. Crouch, Evans and Gowans communicate daily with your child's primary care physician to make sure any changes in the patients condition is immediately known. At the time of discharge, the pediatric hospitalist prescribes any necessary medication and discusses the hospitalization with your child's primary care physician to ensure a seamless transition.
