All clinics are open and have resumed normal operations. Thank you for your patience and understanding during the extreme winter weather event.

TOPEKA, Kan. (Jan. 6, 2025) – Stormont Vail Health is dedicated to ensuring timely medical care to our communities. With the extreme winter weather our region is experiencing, please review the updates below to ensure we can best serve you.

• Our hospitals in Topeka and Junction City (Flint Hills Campus) remain open and operating. We have 24/7 Emergency Departments available to care for emergent needs.
• One Express Care in Topeka will open at 1 p.m. today (1/6/25) – Midtown.
• All other Express Cares and our Flint Hills Campus Walk-in Services in Junction City are closed today 1/6/25.
• For a list of primary and specialty care clinics that will be open at 1 p.m. today (1/6/25), please see below for the most updated list as this is a changing situation. Please note some clinics are closed today. Please call before you travel to appointments.
• We are working to reschedule some appointments to virtual visits, if appropriate. To cancel or reschedule appointments, please utilize MyChart online, otherwise our clinics will be in contact with patients to reschedule.
• The Nurse Information Line is available at Stormont Vail’s Health Connections at (785) 354-5225 to assist with health questions and information.

Stormont Vail / Cotton O’Neil outpatient clinics/services that are open at 1 p.m. today:

• Midtown Express Care
• Primary Care Clinics at 823 Mulvane, 901 Garfield, North Fielding and Emporia
• Carbondale Primary Clinic – Virtual visits only
• Pediatric Clinic on Gage
• Heart Center/Cardiology open (These areas closed –  stress testing, Heart Failure clinic, Vein procedures)
• Cancer Center (open except treatment room)
• Infusion Center
• Wound Care Center
• Behavioral Health – majority of outpatient visits are virtual visits
• OB/GYN Lincoln Center Main Office and Urish
• Specialty medicine areas: Rheumatology, Infectious Disease, Dermatology, Neurology, Nephrology, Endocrinology, (Neurosurgery, Pulmonary and Allergy virtual visits only)
• Retail Pharmacy
