Pulmonary Rehabilitation Program Celebrates First Graduate
Meet Lary, our first Pulmonary Rehabilitation program graduate. Our Pulmonology team created this program to connect people experiencing cardiovascular and pulmonary conditions with integrated support to better manage their conditions and maintain their independence and quality of life.
We’re proud to celebrate Lary’s determination and are excited to see him enjoy the quality of life and well-being he deserves! Sharing success stories like Lary’s is a great way to raise awareness about Stormont Vail Health’s many programs and resources for patients and community members.
The Pulmonary Rehab program currently only accepts referrals from Cotton O’Neil Pulmonary Care. However, as the program grows, we hope to expand and open referrals systemwide.
Stormont Vail Achieves IAC 2024 Vascular Testing Accreditation Gold Milestone
In 1993, Bill Clinton became president, Jurassic Park debuted, and the Cotton O’Neil Heart Center earned its first vascular testing accreditation from the Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC).
A lot has changed since then, but Stormont Vail’s commitment to providing the best in vascular testing and care remains the same. That’s why, after 30 years, we’re proud to achieve the Gold Milestone Award for maintaining continuous IAC accreditation!
Celebrate our team’s achievement and see how this distinction benefits our patients.
Calley Conley Nominated for KSNT Honor a Kansas Nurse
Congratulations to Calley Conley, RN Care Manager in Stormont Vail Health’s Heart Failure Clinic. Calley was nominated by a patient for the KSNT-TV Honor a Kansas Nurse program. Calley is a wonderful person and nurse and we are so fortunate to have her as part of our team. Below is an excerpt from the nomination:
“Calley is an extraordinary person and clinician. She is very through and knowledgeable with her patient education which helped to eliminate my fears and anxiety about my current health situation…She has been my contact person for questions/concerns and explains things to me in a way that I can understand. Calley truly represents the meaning of patient/family partner and advocate. Calley is unbelievably positive and radiates that onto her patients, which I felt the moment I met her.”
