New Prompt Pay Program Helps Patients Save on Medical Bills

Stormont Vail Health is committed to easing the financial burden of seeking care. We offer all patients a way to save through our Prompt Pay Program. When you pay 90% of your total account balance, we’ll write off the remaining 10%. This offer applies to all our services after your insurance processes your claim. For example, if your bill amounts to $1,000 (after insurance), and you pay $900, we’ll waive the final $100 for you.

For more details on our Prompt Pay or other financial assistance options, contact our Customer Service Representatives at (785) 354-1150 or (800) 637-4716 or email [email protected]. For assistance in Spanish, please call (833) 692-3054.

Reducing medical costs makes our services more financially accessible to a broader community, ultimately improving overall health outcomes. We encourage all team members to tell patients, their friends, family, and neighbors about this benefit.

Conference in Pozez Will Focus on Reentry Support

The ROCK reentry conference will be Aug. 27 and 28 in Topeka. ROCK stands for Reentry Opportunity Conference of Kansas. The event will be at Stormont Vail’s Topeka Campus at the Pozez Education Center. Stormont Vail Health is a sponsor of the event.

The conference will share opportunities to support those reentering society and ways the community can provide resources and skills to support those being released from incarceration. The ROCK conference is part of the movement to reduce the stigma associated with reentry.

There will be three keynote speakers and 18 breakout sessions to choose from, including panel sessions with experts in reentry services for Kansas. Registration cost is $75, which includes lunch, refreshments, and ROCK swag. Questions, contact Melissa Goodman at [email protected].

Welcome Baby Jubilee is Sept. 8, 2024

As Fall approaches, we invite you to welcome the season of change (and new life!) at Welcome Baby Jubilee! The event will be 2 to 4 p.m. Sept. 8 in Pozez Education Center, Stormont Vail Hospital in Topeka.

At this special community event, expectant parents and their support people will:

  • Meet new families from around our community
  • Get to know our team and tour the Birthplace
  • Hear answers to new mom FAQs
  • Find resources for parents and babies from local vendors
  • Enter prize drawings for diapers, clothes, blankets, and more

Tdap boosters will be available just in time for Grandparent’s Day! Additionally, we’ll provide Tdap shots for partners and support people to ensure the well-being of infants and everyone around them. Remember to bring your insurance card to receive this critical vaccine. We look forward to celebrating and welcoming new life in our community with you.

We together,
Dr.Kenagy
